	Poetry lovers in Oakville wish to thank you for your support of Poetry 07. A total of 343 people atteded the various Poetry Month events in April 2007. Plans are already underway for Poetry 08. We expect to have public poetry readings by local poetry groups and by the general public, as well as 3 poetry presentations : Poetry with a Conscience (political poems), Poetry with a Smile (any humourous or satirical poems) and Non-Prophet Poetry (Humanist poems). The Youth program will be expanded and we hope to add multicultural and seniors' programming. Workshops for poets will focus on publishing.
